Managing your veterinary hospital’s Facebook account can mean a lot of notifications! Facebook has launched some new settings that allow you to change the frequency on notifications and how you get them.

Personally, I feel that being responsive is good customer service. I would suggest changing these settings to meet whatever is going to work most realistically for you. IE: If you’re an email person, set up email notifications. If you’re attached to your phone 24/7, stick with social media notifications.

TIP: Try the Facebook Pages Manager app. (It’s an app from Facebook specifically created to manage business pages).

How to change your Facebook notification settings

On your veterinary hospital’s Facebook page, you might see this big notification. If so, click that!

Not getting that notification? Click the SETTINGS tab instead. (Located in the top right corner of your page, right under the blue Facebook bar that goes across the top).

Once you are in the SETTINGS tab, you will be able to navigate to the NOTIFICATIONS tab (on the left).
