What’s a Facebook App?
If you aren’t sure what a Facebook app is, let me explain. Facebook apps are located on the left-hand side of your veterinary business’ Facebook page. Usually your veterinary clinic’s page automatically has apps there that link to your photo albums, etc. The apps area located under the “About” section, as highlighted in red below:
Apps can have a variety of functions, for example:
- Facebook contests
- Link to other social media, like Pinterest or Instagram
- Reviews
- Make an appointment
This video above focuses on the “Make an Appointment” option, as I think it’s one of the most useful tricks you can apply with custom Facebook apps. I should note: Apps can only be seen on the desktop version of Facebook, not mobile.
